Interpark Music Plus debuted their new boy group TRENDZ. Consisting of Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, ra.L, Eunil and Yechan, this group released their first mini-album ‘BLUE SET Chapter 1. TRACKS‘.

BLUE SET Chapter 1. TRACKS
This mini-album kicks off with ‘Villain‘ a very interesting starting track that goes all in with a dope EDM arrangement, heavy bass and dramatic vocalization. They definitely went for a strong impression and they achieved it with this song.
We go into the title track ‘TNT (Truth & Trust)‘ with a more hip-hop rooted style and EDM beats. This song was made to make the members shine and they did. The rapping and singing is super cool, and the full arrangement of this track is trendy and catchy.
For the music video, we get a mix of angsty but aesthetically beautiful visuals, and a clean performance with fantastic formations and smooth transitions. Check it below.
‘Trauma‘ follows up with hyped up crowds with chanting and killing rap delivery. The transition between the vocal line and the rap line is super cool, I loved the small pauses and how well balanced this song felt.
‘□(BE MY LOVE)‘ is next and with this song we get a sweeter and youthful sound, this pop song is absolutely adorable and will have many smiling. Last on this release is the instrumental version of the title track.
TRENDZ released a very interesting EP ‘BLUE SET Chapter 1 TRACKS’ with a fun sound and a lot of charisma. The members participated in the writing of the tracks making it even cooler. You can listen to this release here.
