Rocket Punch is back with the latest mini-album ‘BLUE PUNCH’ just a couple of months after releasing their second mini-album ‘RED PUNCH’. This girl group under Woollim Entertainment is definitely working hard. So, let’s dive right into their music.
BLUE PUNCH
The first track is an intro under the same name as this mini-album, it is mainly an electronic track that welcomes listeners to this EP and transitions flawlessly into the title track ‘JUICY’.
The title track for this mini-album has a bubblegum K-pop vibe with catchy tunes, fantastic harmonization and flow that will just make you feel happy as you listen to it. Below you can watch the music video.
‘SUMMER PUNCH!’ is next and as the title describes, this track is a summer bop that will make you want to go to the beach to drink a pina colada.
With a softer tempo and angelic vocals we get the pop ballad ‘One Summer Night’, this track was a fantastic addition to this EP. It really allows listeners to appreciate the vocal power of this girl group and I’m 100% here for it.
‘TWINKLE STAR’ follows with a fantastic mixing and great flow. My highlight of this song was the build up in the bridge with super cool layering, it was clean and gave a nice closure to this song.
We get EDM vibes in the last track of this EP ‘THE THE’, this electronic driven track is fun, happy and has a really lovely flow that gives a clean end to this mini-album.
