The girls from OH MY GIRL released their new mini ‘Dreamy Resonance’. We were blown away by the teaser pictures, so let’s dive right in!
Dreamy Resonance
We start off with the title track ‘Classified‘. This song was inspired by ‘My Doll‘ from their eighth mini ‘Dear OHMYGIRL‘. ‘Classified’ is a really dope dance pop track with a lot of synths and violins in the instrumentals which makes for a hella cool combo. I really like the bounciness of the verses and the transition into the chorus.
‘Start Up’ is a pop track with a bright message and a really fun vocal layering. The bridge is lovely and honestly the full track is a total earworm.
Next up are three tracks by sub-units. The first is ‘La La La‘ by Mimi and SeungHee. Here we’re getting a super addictive hook, rad synths and really good vocals. Mimi’s rap was cool as hell.
‘Sway (You & I)’ is by Yubin and Arin. I’m loving the pacing of this track. We’re going for a pop R&B blend with sensual lyrics.
‘Love Me Like You Do’ has members HyoJung and YooA. We’re going for an R&B ballad with a romantic vibe and stunning vocal work.
The closing track is ‘Heavenly’. This mid-tempo ballad is a beautiful way to close off the album. As expected from OH MY GIRL we’re getting lovely vocals, great instrumentation and a beautiful message.
