The boygroup NEWBEAT released their first mini-album ‘LOUDER THAN EVER’. The members (Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yoon-hoo, Kim Li-woo) went for international appeal as they made all the lyrics in English.
LOUDER THAN EVER
We start off with the first of two title tracks; ‘Look so good’. This is a super suave, pop track with cool vocals, a cooler hook and an even cooler rap verse.
This is a very impressive listen and is hella groovy.
Next up is their second title track ‘LOUD’. I’m kind of obsessed with the opening, that was immediately attention-grabbing. They’re really playing with the tempo and rhythm. This is a very fun track.
‘Natural’ brings in some R&B vibes. We’re going a bit softer with the synths and bass which allows for the vocals to step forward. The synth in the outro is insane, I love it.
The closing track is ‘Unbelievable’. This is a pop rock track with some very cool synths thrown in. This is such a nice listen! I enjoyed the power and energy.
