The girlies from IVE are back with their EP ‘IVE SECRET’. We’re super stoked, so let’s take a closer look!
IVE SECRET
The title track is ‘XOXZ’ and opens up this release. We’re getting a synthy hip-hop and pop blend. I really enjoyed the hook and the fun little breaks and the beat.
‘Wild Bird’ has us longing for freedom with them. It’s an Urban pop track with a bouncy synth and a nice melody.
The next track ‘Dear, My Feelings’ is amazing. I love the bounciness and the vocals are outstanding! We’re getting retro synths and acoustic instruments. The chorus is beautiful and overall this is just a lovely track.
‘GOTCHA (Baddest Eros)’ gives us a lot of power. We’re getting a dark synth track with grungy instrumentals, powerful vocals and an insane hook. I dig it!
Next up is ‘삐빅 (♥beats)’. The song “captures the mischievous sense of love in the digital age.” It’s a fun listen, with fun layers in the instrumentals. The xylophone-like sample is very cute.
The closing track is ‘Midnight Kiss’. We’re going for a gentle single with dreamy synths and soft, angelic vocals. It’s a very pretty melody and has that quality of the light at the golden hour. It’s lovely.
