The boys from CLOSE YOUR EYES are back with their mini-album ‘BLACKOUT’. Let’s take a closer look!
BLACKOUT
We start off with the first title track ‘X’. This is a super cool R&B pop blend that has a killer bassline and fun synths.
Honestly this is a very solid track and total ear candy. The chorus is very catchy and the vocals wonderful.
The MV is also really well done!
After that comes the pre-released second title track ‘SOB’.
We follow that up with ‘CHIC’. We’re getting a House based dance track with very cool layering and pretty sick synths. I really enjoyed how they played with tempo changes and the progression of the track. It’s a club track and that’s hella fun.
‘2.0’ is an R&B hip-hop moment. “The lyrics contain the aspiration to show the growing image of CLOSE YOUR EYES.” It’s a very dynamic track with fun rhythm changes.
Next up is ‘Who’s Dat? (Jane Doe)’ delivers sensual R&B with literaly chill-inducing vocals. This is a fantastic track, super very smooth and a lovely listen.
The closing track is the English version of the title track ‘X’.
