[Review] CHEN – Arcadia

EXO’s CHEN is back with new music in his 5th mini-album ‘Arcadia’. As he continues to grow as a soloist, CHEN has gifted fans incredible music with a wide mix of genres. Let’s dive in and check how he continues to evolve.

Arcadia

The release opens with the title track ‘Arcadia’, a rock-driven single where CHEN pours out raw emotion and delivers stunning vocals. The music video takes a minimalistic yet powerful approach, letting his performance and intensity shine.

Next up is ‘No Gravity’, an R&B/pop single featuring groovy guitar instrumentals. Its vocal progression is effortlessly smooth yet powerful, making it an instant standout.

‘Help Me (Somebody 2 Love)’ follows with an alternative, angsty sound and rhythmic arrangement. The indie-like vibe is refreshing and unexpected, showing a different side of CHEN’s artistry.

We then move into softer tones with ‘In My Life’, an acoustic track that highlights CHEN’s incredible vocal power. It’s delicate, charming, and an absolute listening experience.

Closing the album is ‘Deja-Vu’, which adds bossa nova rhythms to the mix. The track is groovy, easy to listen to, and filled with refreshing instrumental layers — the perfect ending to this mini-album.

With ‘Arcadia’, CHEN delivers another solid release. It’s musically diverse, emotionally rich, and absolutely worth a listen. You can check this release here.
