[Review] ASTRO’s Yoon San-Ha Charms with a Refreshing Solo EP ‘CHAMELEON’

ASTRO’s San-Ha is back with new solo music in a brand new EP. It has been almost a year since his last solo release, and we absolutely love seeing more solo works from the ASTRO members. Let’s dive into what he’s prepared this time around.

CHAMELEON

The EP opens with ‘AURA’, a soft, vibey track set to a gentle EDM tempo. San-Ha’s breathy vocals glide smoothly over lush instrumentals and delicate vocal layering — an atmospheric and dreamy way to kick off the release.

We transition into ‘Bad Mosquito’, where things get groovier. The rhythmic bass and synth lines bring fun energy and refreshing flow, making this track lighthearted and super replayable.

Next up is the title song ‘EXTRA VIRGIN’, a hybrid pop single that radiates summer energy. This track is fresh and upbeat, with standout trumpets, dynamic vocal lines, and a playful rap break that adds even more texture. The music video is just as lively — with cool dance sequences and on-point expressions from San-Ha.

‘6PM (Nobody’s Business)’ brings in retro flair with its funk/pop fusion. Like the title track, this one feels seasonal and crisp — the kind of song that fits perfectly with sunset drives and chill afternoons.

The EP closes with ‘Love You Like Fools’, an R&B/pop ballad dedicated to his fans. Warm, emotional, and sincere, it wraps up the EP with heart and a soft sense of gratitude.

Yoon San-Ha delivers a colourful, genre-spanning solo release with ‘CHAMELEON’ — a perfect pick for anyone craving something fresh, feel-good, and fun.
