[R&B Gem] Moza

In this edition of R&B Gem, we want to shine a light on a hidden treasure we recently discovered—an artist who has completely transformed our playlist. Let’s talk about Moza.

A Unique Debut

Moza has been making waves in the Korean indie scene since 2019. His debut single, I Fall featuring Hansol, introduced listeners to his signature blend of smooth EDM and R&B. The track’s spacey vocals and immersive production made for a total listening experience, setting the tone for what was to come.

Breaking Boundaries with ‘Wall Cube’

Following his debut, Moza released his first full-length album, Wall Cube. This project was packed with impressive collaborations, featuring well-known names like Qim Isle and Milena. The album showcased his artistic vision as both a producer and an artist, effortlessly blending genres from smooth R&B to club-ready tracks. Every song was crafted with cohesion, making Wall Cube an absolute gem for fans of diverse and experimental sounds.

In 2020, Moza took on the role of producer for his second single, Jane Doe, featuring Son Young-gyu. This release highlighted his ability to create atmospheric soundscapes while letting the vocals take center stage.

Between 2020 and 2023, Moza consistently released digital singles and single albums that further explored his sonic universe. His discography during this period includes the instrumental heaven of ‘Pappus’ (2020), ‘Bonfire’ (2021), ‘Bees on me’ (2023), alternative R&B with a smooth and soulful touch in ‘Circle’ (2022), ‘Bees on me’ (2023) and ‘Grey Bean’ (2023); and vibey R&B with ‘Barefoot’ and ‘Summer nomad’ in 2023.

A Triumphant Return: ‘Pattern’

After taking a one-year break from releasing music, Moza returned at the beginning of 2025 with his highly anticipated second album, Pattern. This project took his artistry to a whole new level, blending lo-fi beats, jazz, and dreamy instrumentals. Pattern is a testament to Moza’s evolution, proving that he continues to push boundaries and redefine his sound. If this album is any indication, we can’t wait to see how he outdoes himself next.

Moza is a hidden gem in the Korean indie R&B scene, just waiting to be discovered.
