For this week’s rapper in the spotlight we are going indie, and talking about a rapper who became known after his consistent participation in a survival show. Let’s dive into the career of Chillin Homie.
Jeon Woo-sung (aka. Chillin Homie) debuted in 2018 under Dynasty Musik. His first release was the single ‘GANG MOVE’ featuring GAMEBOY88 and Eptend.
The same year of his debut he competed in ‘Show Me The Money 777’, however, he was eliminated on the second episode, after losing in the second round.
The following year, he decided to become a contestant again for the eighth season of this show, but this time the results were a lot better. He made it to the crew battle, but unfortunately was eliminated during this round. Check below a few of his stages.
During this same year he released the singles ‘Stole’ with Veinifly and M1NU and ‘Jealous’ featuring Tommy Strate, the latter was his first under the agency GROOVL1N which he signed with during that year.
Later in 2019, he teamed up with label mates Ravi, Xydo and Cold Bay, for the track ‘ASURA’.
First EP
2020 was a busy year for Chillin Homie. He released his first EP ‘SAVIOR FROM THE HELL Pt.1’ and joined ‘Show Me The Money’ for the third time on its ninth season.
For his third participation in the show, he showed a lot of growth as a rapper, however, due to personal issues he decided to withdraw before the finals.

In 2021, Woo-sung joined the label Mine Field and released the collaborative EP ‘LOGIN’ with SEONGGUK.
His latest releases are the EP ‘Bad Neighbors’ with KHAN, ‘G-SHOCK’ with Dilla and Y0UNG VA$$, and the single ‘Porsche’ featuring Owen and Loopy.
