I’m back with a new Ode To The Artist. This time I want to put the lovely ANDA in the spotlight.
ANDA started off with the stage name Andamiro, but eventually switched to the shorter version. Her real name is Won Min-ji. ANDA debuted in 2012 under Trophy Entertainment but in 2018 she signed under YGX Entertainment.
Her type of music ranges from soft pop to straight up indie to dance. Which makes for an interesting listen through her discography. It’s great fun though.
One of her songs she released in 2015: ‘Hypnotize’ was released in three languages, Korean, Spanish and English.

My personal favourite EP is her collab with Primary. The EP ‘Do Worry Be Happy’ has four songs and they’re all so good!
I created a playlist with her videos, because all four songs have a music video. And they all deserve applause because they’re beautiful. I especially love the MV for ‘the open boat’ with the little animated snowman.
Her latest release with R.Tee ‘What You Waiting For’ kind of blew up! It currently has over 8 million views and it’s a total bop!
I am in love with her vocals. She has a very interesting timbre. She also writes and co-writes a lot of her own music. So we stan!
