We have a brand new MV recommendation for you, this time we’re writing about hip hop artist KUSH and his music video for ‘Reminisice’.
KUSH is a Korean hip hop artist who’s helped produce songs for 2NE1 and Zion.T. He was part of the first reggae duo in the early 2000s and has also participated in Show Me The Money 5.
The song ‘Reminisce’ by KUSH really struck a chord with me. First of all the music video has some amazing storytelling. I’ve been missing my mom’s dog and this properly gave me a bittersweet dose of some beautiful dogs prancing around.
The actress in the video is SeongYeon, one of the members of KARA. Apparently instead of receiving payment, she donated dog food instead. Big Heart Energy.
Now the last thing that makes it so captivating for me is of course the R&B feel of the song itself and the lyrics. I’m a little bit in love with KUSH’s husky voice and the way the vocals flow in their intensity. It’s some really great songwriting, composing and producing.
