Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro: My Final Review After 1 Year of Use

After almost a year of testing the Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro, I’m finally ready to answer the big question: is it really worth the hype and investment?

Spoiler: For me, the answer is a confident yes—but with a few important caveats.

Looking Back: First Impressions

When I first got my hands on the Booster Pro, I paired it with Some By Mi’s Miracle Serum and a Vitamin C serum during my morning routine. I used it 2–3 times a week, and the most noticeable change was a reduction in pore size, but the results were heavily tied to consistency. Skipping even a week meant some results faded, but sticking with it brought my skin back on track.

Fast forward several months, and my impressions evolved. Let’s break it down.

Results: It’s All About the Right Product Pairing

The Booster Pro alone isn’t a magic wand, it shines when combined with the right products.

  • Summer Routine (Daytime): Paired with Vitamin C serums, I saw brighter, smoother skin and more refined pores.
  • Summer Routine (Nighttime): Using it with Centella Asiatica serums during hot, breakout-prone days gave me calmer, healthier skin.

I found that the best results came when using the device at least once a day in one of my routines, and doing a full cycle (all four modes) about once a week.

Breaking Down the Modes

Here’s how I used each mode and what results I noticed:

  • Air Shot Mode:
Great for acne scars. Using it at level 3–4 consistently for a month gave me faster fading results.
  • Booster Mode:
My daily go-to. It boosted absorption of serums, leaving my skin noticeably healthier and radiant—especially in the mornings.
  • Microcurrent Mode:
This one took me a while to get used to. I mostly used it with sheet masks, and it really left my skin feeling bouncy and refreshed.
  • Derma Shot Mode:
The ultimate workout for my face and neck muscles. It boosted elasticity and even helped when stress left my face feeling tense.

What Products Worked Best with It

Morning Routine (Summer):

  • Tenzero – Vitamin C Ampoule
  • Torriden – Cellmazing Vita C Brightening Ampoule

Evening Routine:
(changed with the seasons, but especially during hotter weeks)

  • SKIN1004 – Madagascar Centella Ampoule
  • SOME BY MI – Retinol Intense Reactivating Serum
  • Purito – Centella Green Level Buffet Serum

This lineup helped keep my skin balanced, blemishes under control, and scars fading.

Final Thoughts: Is the Booster Pro Worth It?

For me, absolutely. After a year, I can confidently say the Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro delivered lasting improvements in pore size, scarring, and overall complexion. It honestly feels like having professional facial treatments at home.

Of course, results can vary by skin type and consistency, but if you’re willing to commit, this device can be a real game-changer.

✨ My verdict: YES! it’s worth it. My skin looks healthier, clearer, and more radiant than it did a year ago, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon
