For this week’s Label Deep Dive, we’re taking a journey into the indie scene, spotlighting a new and exciting label with a smooth, vibey artist lineup. Let’s talk about ODDINARY RECORDS.
The name ODDINARY RECORDS is a fusion of “Odd” and “Ordinary,” hinting at their unique approach to music. Though relatively new, having started in early 2023, this label has already made waves with its distinctive sound and rising talent.
One of the first artists promoted under ODDINARY RECORDS was hartts, who made a strong debut with his single “Loop.”
Next up, the label signed Ilipp (E.UL), who introduced his fresh style with the track “Silicone,” featuring Rakon.
Toward the end of 2023, three new artists joined ODDINARY RECORDS: Vahn, Wavycake, and Jayd, each offering their own unique sound with singles like “We Can’t Rewind!,” “Island,” and “Guitar.”
Although Vahn parted ways with the label and is now independent, ODDINARY RECORDS continues to grow. Their latest signing, FRE:DEN, dropped the single “To Be Cool” in 2024, continuing the label’s streak of memorable releases.
