Kingdom’s introduction stages kicked off today, and we are already hyped up for these teams. Multistans will have it hard this time. The talent is incredible, and these groups are ready to show off.
The introduction performances were streamed on MNET’s official channel today, we had to watch it and the line-up for this season of Kingdom is a killer.
ATEEZ started off the introduction stages with the performance ‘Wave: Overture’, with this stage this very much talented group killed it with a theatrical performance and impressive acting. As we all know they are incredible dancers and performers, and this stage was no exception.
BTOB has a emotional stage with ‘Beautiful Pain (Choir version)’. They went off and did what they do best. Their BEAUTIFUL vocals went straight to my feelings. The harmonizations were just out of this world. Vocal kings! It was just breathtaking.
SF9’s stage was visuals everywhere. The ‘Good Guy/ The Glory’ performance felt like a runway packed with beautiful guys in suits with a cool dance break with perfect synchronization and vocals.
‘MIROH’ is one of my favourite songs by Stray Kids. I was hyped up as soon as I saw they were performing this one. Starting from the intro I was shocked, their performance was well planned and super interesting. I am really eager to see what surprises this multi-talented group will show during the show.
For their performance they went off and they killed it. The rap-line ate this performance, and overall they did an amazing job. They jumped, flipped and straight-up delivered a legendary stage.
As we all know The Boyz is exceptionally incredible with their stages and their performance for ‘The Stealer (Epic ver.)’ and this one was no exception.
They played really well with camera positions and angles. The contemporary dance addition was stunning and very unexpected. In one word, beautiful.
The last stage of the introduction performances was iKON, performing ‘Rhythm Ta (Kingdom version)’. This song is a fan favourite and more than one was nostalgic to see this new version.
Their dance break was extremely cool and I loved how they were truly enjoying themselves while performing it.
We are looking forward to the first episode of ‘Kingdom: Legendary War’ on April 1st, 2021. Mnet hasn’t uploaded the stages yet, but keep an eye on their official channel.
