We’re about halfway December, which means we’re looking back at the numbers of November and taking a closer look at the top 10 of the latest K-Indie Chart.

The top 10 looks a lot different from last month’s chart. The only artists returning are JANNABI and HANRORO. Though, there are quite a few old familiars charting again.
Lee Seung Yoon has frequently shown up with his LP ‘YEOK SEONG’. 10CM has charted with his album ‘5.0 (acoustic)’ in September. His ‘1st EP’ is charting for the first time.
The group SORAN released their ‘EP: DREAM’ in October. The mini-album is a great alternative rock album with killer vocals and a great progression.
One of my personal highlights of this chart is that JAURIM came out with their latest album ‘LIFE!’ They dropped this at the beginning of November. In the album description they wrote this: “they are raging: at their own fate, at others who torment them, and at this crazy world filled with old habits and hatred.”
From the powerful ‘LIFE!’ to the soft lament of ‘STARS’, this album is an emotional 40 minute roller coaster.
Bek Hyunjin is a new name on the chart. The actor, artist and musician released his album ‘Seoul Syntax’ which ties in with a solo exhibition he did in the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery in Los Angeles. The album came out in June and the exhibition ran during the summer.
Bek is also a feature on one of the tracks on ‘Tales of Sensuality’ by Kim Yuna. The 2024 album snagged the 10th and last spot on the chart.
