We’re back with the latest K-Indie Chart, this time we’re taking a look at the brand new top 10 of the best selling records in July.

We’ve got some new names on the K-indie chart! Redoor released the EP ‘Hospital’ in June. Bye Bye Badman’s album ‘Bad Timing’ came out in April. The DPNS release is a new EP that came out the beginning of June. Aleph’s album ‘Blinded’ is a release from 2023.
Redoor – Hospital
The quartet released their third EP ‘Hospital’. The EP contains five tracks and “is a record of pain and a narrative of recovery, and at its center is always the existence of ‘me’.”
We start off with the intro track ‘+’. This is quite the ominous track with the repetitive ‘Ron’. That is consequently the following track. I really enjoyed the smooth transition to that track. The instrumentation of ‘Ron’ is absolutely stunning. We’re getting some beautiful strings!
I loved the rock opening for the title track ‘Syringe’. The guitars are really popping off in this one. The lyrics are all about a bad break up and read quite poetic.
‘Dear Freddy’ feels quite gothic-like. There’s a darker sound that is super cool and vibey. Honestly this is a super dope track. Blast it loud through your speakers for the full effect.
The closing track is ‘Shadow of You’. This is a stunning ballad! We’re getting the strings back and it’s just the cherry on top. I love the melody and the tempo. It’s just incredibly well done.
