The wonderful queen JeA from Brown Eyed Girls has released a solo single ‘Greedyy’ featuring MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul.
The lyrics for ‘Greedyy’ were written by IU and you can really tell from the general feel of the song.
It’s an ode to girls and doing whatever you want. If you want to be loud, be loud. You want to eat? Eat that cake, sis. If you don’t want to smile, you don’t have to.
There are a lot of ‘rules’ about being a girl, that’s kind of the reason why we need feminism, but I digress.
‘Greedyy’ is a fun, quirky, almost indie sounding kind of song. JeA’s vocals as always are superb and I absolutely loved Moonbyul’s rapverse. It kind of brings me back to ‘Selfish’ with the Seulgi/Moonbyul combo. There are some really funky piano lines in the song and it’s dope.
