We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re introducing Rumble Fish. Let’s take a closer look!
Rumble Fish was a four member rock band consisting of Choi Jin-yi (vocals, guitar), Kim Sung-gun (guitar), Kim Ho-il (bass), Park Chun-hwee (drums). They debuted in 2003, but this group is no longer active as a band since 2010, only Choi Jin-yi remains active as a singer.
Discography
Throughout their seven year tenure, they released several albums and left quite the impact. Let’s dive into their discography.
Their debut album ‘Swing Attack’ was an immediate hit and promptly put them into the spotlight.

‘Have A Nice Dream’ was their follow-up album in 2015.
In 2007 they came back with the album ‘Open the safe’.
The year after they came back with the album ‘Memory for you’.
In 2009 Rumble Fish released their last album ‘One Sweet Day’ as a quartet.
Choi Jin-yi had her first release as a soloist under the name Rumble Fish with the album ‘I am Me’.
Between 2010 and 2014 she released several singles. Her second EP ‘I am Rumble Fish’ was released in 2014.
After that release she has released several OSTs. Choi has also participated in ‘Masked Singer’ and ‘Immortal Songs’.
