We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re going for the incredibly talented Jisu Ryu. Let’s take a closer look!
Jisu Ryu
Jisu debuted in 2018 with the stunning ballad ‘Words from Nothing’. The vocals, the blend of haegeum and the strings and the piano create a heartwrenching track.
That year she also released ‘Bitter’Fly’, ‘Shackles’ and ‘Yet’.
The year after she came back with the EP ‘Period Folded’ and the singles ‘Emergency’ and ‘I’d rather’.
In 2020 Jisu came out with several singles, here are some of our favorites.
Her following EP ‘Words from the remain’ came out in 2021. Her debut single ‘Words from nothing’ was included in the album.
This is not the official music video, but the performance is too pretty not to share.
The following two years only two singles came out.
In 2024 Jisu released the singles ‘Yearnme’ and ‘Noirglow’.
