We’re back with a new Indie Pick and this time we’re taking a look at singer-songwriter Jeon Yoo-dong.
Debut
Jeon debuted in 2015 with the single album ‘Cloud’s Block’. At that point he didn’t use his own name, but rather the stage name Cloud’s block.
That year he also released the single ‘Sky Latte’.
His first EP didn’t come out until 2017 with ‘6-9-77’.
These releases you can find under this Spotify name.
In 2018 Jeon released the single ‘The Abstract Painting Called April’. This is the first single released under his own name.
‘Forest as an observer’ was his first full-length album which was released in 2020. I absolutely adore the guitar from the opening track ‘Sparrows are adorable’. It’s a short intro, that allows you to step into the forest with a magical touch.
The title track ‘Moss’ has an ethereal start that will tug at your heartstrings.
The following year he released the single ‘Diplodocus’ and the EP ‘Leaving a Nest’.
In 2022 he teamed up with none other than Haepa.
In 2023 he came out with his second full-length album ‘I call it love, though it’s not the word I use often’ as well as the EP ‘After all these years’.
His most recent comeback is the single ‘a poem with blank’.
