This time our Indie Pick is none other than 12DAL. If you love beautiful ballads accompanied by some god-tier vocals, keep on reading.
12DAL is a singer-songwriter duo under XX Entertainment. The two girls Nayul and Yerim write and compose their own songs so they’re amazingly talented and we STAN.
They debuted in August 2018 and have since then been steadily releasing single after single. Genre wise they lean more towards R&B I think, but they’re not that well known so I don’t know if there is a thing as indie R&B but there should be.
Their songs
This song gave me goosebumps when I first heard it, the belting is freaking amazing. If you don’t have time to watch the full video, start at about 2:30. Their vocals are amazing and if they harmonize it makes it even better.
‘Perfume’ is accompanied by a beautiful acoustic guitar and this track haunts my dreams.
The next music video is giving me major envy because I also want to go on a roadtrip with my best friends… Though to be fair, my roadtrip would have more food and less mirrors involved.
