EP Review: OH MY GIRL – NONSTOP

The girls from OH MY GIRL are back with their new EP ‘NONSTOP’ and I’m super stoked. Their presence on QUEENDOM blew me away and I’ve been listening to their bops. Let’s dive in!

NONSTOP

The first track is their title track ‘Nonstop’ and is accompanied by a beautiful, fun music video.

I’m in love with this summer hit and I want to play it on the beach (when I finally am allowed to go). The rap section is DOPE and elevates this song to a certified banger.

‘Dolphin’ is up next and starts with a funky intro. I really dig the bass throughout ‘Dolphin’. It’s groovy and I was waiting for that sweet, sweet buildup. This song is dripping in sass and attitude and I LOVE it!!

Up next is ‘Flower Tea’ and it leads us to ballad city. We start with a beautiful descending piano. The vocals really had me in my feels, especially when the violins came in. Their harmonies were lovely and I’d really love to see a live version of this.

‘NEON’ takes us back to funk town. We start with video game synths and it sets up the mood for a fun, high energy track.

‘Krystal’ closes the EP with a mid-tempo track with brilliant vocals. This kind of stays close to what I’ve come to expect style-wise of OH MY GIRL. It’s a lovely addition to their discography.

Overall

‘NONSTOP’ by OH MY GIRL is a really good EP that has a little bit of everything. My personal favorites were definitely ‘Nonstop’ and ‘Dolphin’. I’m going to have a great time replaying this for the next couple of days.
