NCT 127 is back, blessing us with the repackage of their album ‘Neo Zone’, and this version brings three brand new tracks.
NCT members are working hard this year, this is the second comeback for NCT 127 in less than 6 months, just a couple of weeks before we had the dreamies (NCT Dream) comeback, and over the last few weekends we got concerts from all the divisions (WayV, NCT 127 and NCT Dream).
Can it get any better? NCTzens are being spoiled with music this year. Let’s start off with this release.
Neo Zone: The Final Round – The 2nd Album Repackage
The title track ‘Punch’ kicks off this repackaged album. Arcade music plays a big role in the dynamic of this track. However, the inclusion of more EDM sounds and the electric guitar for the bridge was super dope. Jungwoo and Johnny’s vocals were everything and overall I really liked how this track let every member shine.
‘NonStop’ is next with an electric beat that suits NCT 127 extremely well. Jaehyun opening this track rapping was a great surprise to my ears. I really liked Yuta’s verse and the bridge including Mark’s fire rapping, Haechan and Taeil’s amazing vocals and Doyoung belting that note.
‘Prelude’ starts off and as you may guess, it is an EDM track full of NCT vibe and energy. NCT 127 transition tracks have always been super cool and this one is no exception, and I have to say that this one is just the perfect opening for the next song ‘Kick It’.
‘Make Your Day’ is the last new track in this repackage album. It is filled with breath-taking vocals from NCT 127 vocal line. These guys left me speechless and the piano accompaniment made this song even more precious. In this track we get to appreciate the vocal kings they are and it is probably one of my favourite songs by NCT.
