A Fresh Spin on the MIRANI Sound: Reviewing the ‘CLUTCH’ EP

MIRANI has been on our radar ever since we discovered her through ‘SHOW ME THE MONEY’ in 2020. Since then, her music has continued to evolve, and we’ve been following every step of that journey. Her latest EP ‘CLUTCH’ reveals yet another new facet of her artistry; fresh, dynamic, and still rooted in the MIRANI identity we love. Here’s our track-by-track breakdown.

The title track ‘CLUTCH’ opens the EP on an energetic note, blending clapping beats with vibey distorted bass. MIRANI delivers a bold yet seductive performance, with smooth vocal layering and an impressive arrangement that grabs listeners from the first second.

Transitioning effortlessly, ‘Yellin’’ keeps a smoother, more laid-back flow from MIRANI while Kid Milli brings sharp, biting verses. The contrast creates a stylish, alternative listen that stands out in the tracklist.

Featuring Loco, ‘My Shy’ leans into MIRANI’s smooth rap style with hints of melodic delivery. Loco’s relaxed tone complements her perfectly, giving the song a trendy, refreshing charm that feels instantly replayable.

Heavier beats and atmospheric production take over in ‘Cash Flow’. This track is one of her most experimental moments, rave-like, layered, and rhythm-heavy. MIRANI’s laid-back yet precise rap delivery helps build a full, immersive atmosphere.

With ‘Cry?’, the EP moves fully into EDM festival territory. It’s a high-energy party track with a dynamic arrangement and steady flow that keeps the adrenaline high from beginning to end.

Closing the EP, ‘Ride with You’ keeps the EDM essence but leans into a breezier, summer-night vibe. It’s trendy, refreshing, and wraps up ‘CLUTCH’ with the feeling of a complete, cohesive listening experience.
