The boys from Seventeen are back with their eighth mini-album ‘Your Choice’. We are absolutely stoked, so let’s dive right in!

Your Choice

We start off with ‘Heaven’s Cloud’. This is a very soft EDM pop track. I love all of the synths and the soft vocals with the beautiful harmonies. The layering is excellently done and it’s just such a nice listen, especially when we reach the bridge.

After that we get the title track ‘Ready To Love’. It’s a next level experience. The synth bass is hella intense which is something I haven’t heard since ‘Fear’. It makes for a really cool contrast with their previous track which was super soft, whereas this goes for intensity.

The music video is a pastel fever dream. I dig it.

‘Anyone’ leans more towards the R&B side of the spectrum, but there’s some really cool rock instrumentation in there with the electric guitars. It’s dope and feels dark. The bass is giving me life! It’s a major vibe and I’m in love.

Next up is the Hip-Hop sub-unit with ‘GAM3 BO1’. The Hip-Hop unit wrote their own verses, which we stan. Vernon was part of the composing team as well. We get tons of hype and chirp sounds from video games. I can’t wait to see them perform this live. It’s going to be a party!

‘Wave’ is by the Performance team and gives us a sensual House track. There’s a really cool bass in this and their vocals are great! This is the ideal track to dance to at midnight in your bedroom while feeling like a baddie. We need the performance video of this ASAP.

The last track on the mini is ‘Same dream, same mind, same night’ by the vocal unit. We’re getting R&B from the early 2000s and the nostalgia makes me ache. It’s absolutely amazing and will put an instant smile on your face. Give me a Boyz II Men style music video, I need it.

Overall ‘Your Choice’ by SEVENTEEN is another really solid mini-album in their discography. You can find it on Spotify here.
