The girls from Hi-L debuted with their EP ‘Go High’. There are six members: LeeJin, Soojung, Dakyung, Jooa, Hayun, and Yeseul. The group Hi-L is under KPOP LIVE Entertainment.

Go High

We start off with the title track ‘Too Too’. The song is a Mumbathon Dance track that fits the summer perfectly. We’re getting some fun rap verses and some lovely vocals.

‘Beautiful Night’ follows that with a mid-tempo pop single. Their vocals get the full breadth of the song to shine and it’s a really enjoyable listen. There’s some cute synth thrown in that makes it very current while still feeling fresh. It’s well mixed with every part of the song feeling balanced.

Next up is ‘Always’ that starts off giving me major 90s vibes. I love that they added this to their debut mini-album. It’s so cool and I hope they release a performance video for this in S.E.S style clothing.

The last three songs are the instrumentals of the previous tracks.

Overall, ‘Go High’ by Hi-L is a really lovely debut mini-album that shows a lot of vocal strength. I’m excited to see how they get on on their K-pop journey.
